 Week 2 : the blog

Assignment 2 : Blog

Creating a blog

For the next two years of CE, you’ll publish your work on a blog.

You’ll probaby know that through blogs, people keep others updated. You need to keep your teacher updated via the blog and you also send the link of your blog to friends and family so they can see what you’re doing at CE. After year 3 of CE, you can use your blog as a portfolio to show people what you are able to do. This can be very useful proof!

You need to update your blog each week. At the end of the class, you need to post your log on your blog. At the start of each project, you add the project plan to your blog and at the end you put the self-assessment on it and publish your work. For example, you create a link to your hotel website or you use google docs to show the portfolio you’ve made with the London project. You can also add everything you make for MySN to your blog. For example your assignment about “My Dream Hotel” or a screenshot (click alt+ctrl+delete when you’re on the page you want a screenshot of, then go to paint and click on paste – save this as a jpeg en you have screenshot) of your reaction on someone else’s work.
