Assignment 6 : Making a website

Your hotel needs a website. Everything people might want to know about your hotel, needs to be on the website.

At the beginning of this project, you needed to write down what other hotels placed on their websites; that’s the inspiration of what to put on your website.

What needs to be on your website:

-       general introduction on homepage

-       invitation to opening party

-       info about rooms

-       floorplan

-       info about surroundings (where is the hotel + what can people do in the neighbourhood + link for more information)

-       menu

-       you’re very welcome to add your own ideas!

You can add what you think is interesting (maybe something you’ve seen on the websites of other hotels) for your future guests.  

We are going to use the website www.jouwweb.nl , an easy to use website to make your own website.

Tip: you can have multiple administrators at this websitemaker!

Of course your website has to fit in with the style of your hotel. Keep your target audience in mind!

You need to make a fresh, inviting, well-organised website about your hotel. Use several sources and don't forget to mention the source (bronvermelding!) when you use information from other websites or books and when you add pictutres or videos. 

Make sure it's attractive for your target group and use descriptive, longer sentences. (Not: "It is a nice hotel", but "The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and has the most luxury facilities".

Your website needs at least: one weblink, one video and three pictures.
